Toyota India to Launch Its Most Awaited New Camry Hybrid Sedan on December 11, 2024

Toyota India is set to launch its much-awaited new Camry Hybrid sedan in India on December 11, 2024. The model was introduced to the global market a year earlier. Currently in its ninth generation in international markets, the 2025 Toyota Camry has undergone significant updates inside and out, with new features and technologies added.

This will be India's first major update for the sedan in over five years. The shift in the market towards SUVs has resulted in declining Camry sales in recent times. Toyota hopes the updates will help improve its sales.

2025 Toyota Camry Design and Features

The 2025 Camry is essentially a new version of the previous model. It features a fresh exterior design that looks sharper than ever. The interior has also been significantly revamped, showcasing a modern-looking dashboard.

In terms of features, the car offers

1. Standard Features include an 8-inch touchscreen system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a small digital screen in the instrument cluster.
2. Top Variants: A 12.3-inch touchscreen system and a fully digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster.

2025 Toyota Camry Powertrain

The U.S.-spec 2025 Toyota Camry offers two hybrid powertrain options:

1. Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD) Model: Powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine paired with two electric motors, producing a combined output of 225 hp.
2. All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) Model: Includes a third electric motor, increasing the maximum power output to 232 hp.

Both variants come with a standard automatic CVT transmission. However, for the Indian market, the 2025 Camry will only be available in the FWD configuration, leaving out the AWD option.

Currently, the Toyota Camry Hybrid is priced at ₹46.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the upcoming 2025 Camry Hybrid in India is expected to increase further.
