Last month, the Tata Nexon was Tata Motors' best-selling car. In January 2025, a total of 15,397 units of the Nexon/Nexon EV were sold, securing the second position in sales. However, this marks a 10% year-on-year decline compared to 17,182 units sold in January 2024.

However, every month, sales saw an increase. Compared to 13,536 units sold in December 2024, sales in January 2025 were 14% higher. Now, let’s take a look at the key features of the Tata Nexon in this article.

Tata Nexon Price

The ex-showroom price of the Tata Nexon starts at ₹8 lakh and goes up to ₹15.60 lakh for the top model. The Nexon is primarily available in five variants. Its base model is called Smart, while the top model is the Tata Nexon Fearless.

Tata Nexon Powertrain

The Tata Nexon comes with two powertrain options. The first is a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, producing 120 PS power and 170 Nm torque. The CNG variant also uses the same 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine, but with a slightly lower output of 100 PS power and 170 Nm peak torque.

Additionally, it offers a 1.5-liter diesel engine, which delivers 115 PS power and 260 Nm peak torque.
