MG Windsor EV Pro has created a buzz in the Indian market with its entry. The electric car received over 8,000 bookings within just 24 hours of its launch, setting a new record. The MG Windsor Pro was launched on May 6th. Let's take a look at its price, features, and specifications.

MG Windsor EV Pro Price and Booking Details

The new MG Windsor Pro EV was launched at a starting price of ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which was applicable to the first 8,000 customers. According to reports, after reaching this target, the price has now increased to ₹18.10 lakh (ex-showroom).

MG Motor is also selling it under the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, where you can bring the EV home for just ₹13.09 lakh (ex-showroom). For this option, you will need to pay a battery rental of ₹4.5 per kilometer.

MG Windsor EV Pro Battery and Range

The MG Windsor Pro uses a 52.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack, which offers a certified ARAI range of 449 kilometers on a single charge. This EV can be fully charged in 9.5 hours using a 7.4 kW AC charger, while a 60 kW DC fast charger can charge it from 20% to 80% in just 50 minutes. It also features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging options.

MG Windsor EV Pro Features and Luxury

The interior of the MG Windsor EV Pro is packed with premium features, including a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, an 8.8-inch digital driver display, a 9-speaker Infinity sound system, a panoramic glass roof, 135-degree reclining rear seats (Aero-Lounge design), 256-color ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger.

Safety Features

The new MG Windsor EV Pro comes equipped with a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), offering 12 features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, automatic emergency braking, and traffic jam assist. Additionally, it includes safety features like 6 airbags, a 360-degree parking camera, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start and descent control, and a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS).
