Suzuki has launched its popular car Alto in a new avatar in the
Japanese market. The new Suzuki Alto comes with advanced features, better
mileage, and a modern design. This car is expected to be launched in the Indian market soon, offering a more affordable option for those seeking a budget-friendly vehicle. Let’s see how much the new Alto has changed compared
to before.
Design and
Exterior
The 2025 Suzuki Alto Facelift features a new front grille, rounded bumper, and
attractive headlamps, giving it a fresh look. Its new color options and stylish
alloy wheels make it an appealing choice for young buyers. The car’s design is
compact and aerodynamic, which will help improve mileage further.

Engine and
Mileage
The new
Suzuki Alto is offered with two engine options. The first is a 658cc,
3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 46 BHP and 55 Nm of
torque. The second is a 658cc mild-hybrid engine delivering 48 BHP and 58 Nm of
torque. Both engines come paired with a CVT gearbox and offer FWD and AWD
options. The hybrid FWD variant is capable of delivering an impressive mileage
of 28.2 km/l on the WLTC cycle.
Top-notch
Safety
The 2025
Suzuki Alto is equipped with a radar-based Advanced Driver Assistance
System (ADAS) for safety, which includes features like Dual Sensor Brake
Support II. This system is loaded with collision mitigation, lane departure
warning, and adaptive cruise control features.
Interior and Features
The car’s interior is quite simple yet functional. It comes equipped with a
7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, keyless entry,
and a 4-speaker audio system. The dashboard features chrome accents and
ergonomic controls, giving it a premium look.
Price
The 2025 Suzuki Alto has been launched only in the Japanese market for now. The
starting ex-showroom price for the 2WD/CVT variant is ¥1,519,100, while the
4WD/CVT variant starts at ¥1,639,000. If it is introduced in the Indian market,
its expected price could be around ₹4.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
India Launch
Possibility
Currently, the new Suzuki Alto has only been launched in Japan. Its 0.65-liter
engine might struggle on Indian roads, which makes its launch in India less
likely. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this as of now.
