India’s best-selling MPV, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, is soon
coming in a new avatar. The 2025 Maruti Ertiga was recently spotted outside a
showroom. This 7-seater family car will come with new design elements, advanced
features, and improved safety standards. Let’s take a look at its expected
price and specifications.
2025 Maruti Ertiga: Bigger Size and Modern Look
The new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga gets a more stylish and premium
design compared to the current model. At the front, it features a new chrome
winged grille that gives it a bold and attractive look. It also comes with
projector headlamps with LED DRLs, while at the rear, there are split LED tail
lamps and a sculpted bumper with chrome inserts, enhancing its modern road
presence.
2025 Maruti Ertiga Features and Technology
The 2025 Ertiga comes with several new and updated features.
It now gets a 17.78 cm SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system with
wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate
control, rear AC vents, cooled can holders, reclining and foldable seats for
the second and third rows, and a massive 803 liters of boot space.
2025 Maruti Ertiga Safety
Maruti Suzuki has prioritized safety in the new Ertiga. All
variants now come with 6 airbags. Other key safety features include ABS with
EBD, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill-Hold Assist, reverse parking
sensors and camera, ISOFIX child seat mounts, and a high-speed alert system.
2025 Maruti Ertiga: Power and Performance
The new Ertiga will continue with the existing engine
options. It will be offered with a 1.5-liter Smart Hybrid petrol engine and a
CNG option. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed
automatic gearbox. The petrol model delivers a mileage of 20.51 km/l, while the
CNG variant offers up to 26.11 km/kg.
Bigger Size and More Space
According to a report by CarWale, the new Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will be larger in size. Its length will increase from 4.39 meters to
4.43 meters, while the wheelbase remains unchanged at 2.74 meters. This will
make the family MPV even more spacious.
