The Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 has commenced today at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. PM Modi inaugurated this mega event, accompanied by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and several other ministers.
While addressing the event, PM Modi remembered Ratan Tata and Osamu Suzuki. He said, "Ratan Tata and Osamu Suzuki have played a significant role in propelling the auto sector forward. Today, India's automotive industry is both remarkable and ready for the future."
India's auto industry grew at a rate of around 12% last year. PM Modi remarked, "The number of cars sold in India each year surpasses the population of many countries." During his address, he also emphasized the importance of innovation in electric vehicles (EVs).
Highlights of Auto Expo 2025
The Auto Expo is being held from January 17 to January 22 at multiple locations, including Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, Yashobhoomi in Dwarka, and Greater Noida. Over these six days, attendees will get the opportunity to witness impressive concept car models, new EVs, and cutting-edge technologies.

Over 100 Brands Participating
More than 100 automotive brands, including Maruti, Tata, Hyundai, and Mahindra, are participating in Auto Expo 2025. Along with new cars and bikes, visitors can explore the International Tire Show, Bharat Battery Show, Steel Pavilion, Mobility Tech Pavilion, and India Cycle Show.

Maruti's First Electric Car Debut
During Auto Expo 2025, Maruti Suzuki India will unveil its first electric car, the e-Vitara. Additionally, Hyundai is set to launch the Creta EV at the event.
