Note: All prices are in Rs lakh and ex-showroom, India. Both direct-injection turbo-petrol engines carry over. The 1.0-litre unit makes 115hp and 178Nm, while the 1.5-litre produces 150hp and 250Nm. The 1.0 TSI keeps its 6-speed manual, and the 1.5 TSI continues with a 7-speed DCT. Automatic versions of the 1.0-litre engine now get a new 8-speed torque converter automatic that replaces the older 6-speed unit.
The Skoda Slavia facelift retains the silhouette of the outgoing model.
Up front, there are updated LED headlamps with segmented DRLs, a segmented
chrome strip on the grille, new LED fog lamps, and a sportier bumper with a
revised air dam.
The 16-inch alloy wheels get a new design, and the
window line gets a chrome tip. At the rear, the Skoda Slavia facelift carries
revised LED tail-lamps with sequential turn indicators, updated Skoda badging
and a restyled bumper. New colour options are Arctic Silver and Cappuccino
Beige. Monte Carlo versions get blacked-out exterior elements, black alloy
wheels, red accents on the grille, dedicated 'Monte Carlo' badges and dual-tone
paint choices.
Inside, the standard trims carry over the
beige-and-black theme with copper inserts, but the leatherette seats now have a
monotone finish instead of the earlier dual-tone. Monte Carlo versions go for
an all-black theme with red inserts, red graphics across the screens, and black
leatherette seats with contrast red stitching. The two-spoke steering wheel,
the recessed space on the dash, circular air vents, and touch-based HVAC
controls are unchanged.
The Skoda Slavia facelift's infotainment screen is slightly larger at 10.1 inches and
gets a Google AI assistant. A new 10.25-inch digital driver's display offers
configurable screens, and the feature list now includes a 360-degree camera and
a segment-only rear seat massage function. A new variable-geometry compressor
for the HVAC system improves AC performance. Carried over are a single-pane
sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger,
powered and ventilated front seats and an 8-speaker audio system. Ashish Gupta,
Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said, "The Slavia has become an
important part of Škoda Auto India's sedan legacy, bringing together the
design, driving experience, safety and engineering that customers associate
with our brand. The new Slavia builds on that strong foundation with a more
striking presence, greater comfort, smarter technology and an all-new
eight-speed automatic. That is the essence of Says it All: a sedan that does
not ask customers to choose between aspiration and practicality, performance
and comfort, or technology and peace of mind. It brings these strengths
together in one confident, complete package, making the sedan experience even
more relevant and desirable for a new generation of customers."
