Toyota Hyryder Sales Soar 94% YoY Amid Rising Hybrid Car Demand

The company has recorded impressive growth in the sales of its only hybrid SUV, the Toyota Hybrid. Toyota Hyryder Witnesses Soaring Demand

Amid the rising demand for hybrid cars, the Toyota Hybrid has attracted a strong customer base. Last month, a total of 7,573 new customers purchased the Hyryder. This figure reflects a massive 94% year-on-year growth compared to the 3,906 units sold in May 2024.

Price and Variant Details

Customers can buy the Toyota Hyryder at a starting ex-showroom price of just ₹11.34 lakh. On the other hand, the top-spec variant of the Hyryder is priced at ₹20.19 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the SUV is available in a total of 13 different variant options.

Features and Interior

The Toyota Hybrid comes loaded with premium features such as a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, ambient lighting, 8-way power-adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, 7-inch TFT multi-information display, cruise control, and paddle shifters.

Safety Features

In terms of safety, the Hyryder is equipped with standard 6 airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), all-wheel disc brakes, 360-degree camera, reverse parking sensors, parking camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seat anchors.

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is offered with a hybrid engine setup. The company sells it with a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine available in mild hybrid, strong hybrid, and CNG fuel options.
