Performance figures are strong for its segment — the Model Y can sprint from 0–100 km/h in about 5.6–5.9 seconds, with a top speed near 201 km/h.
Charging technology remains a standout Tesla strength. Using high-speed DC charging (up to ~250 kW where available), the Model Y can add over 260 km of range in just 15 minutes, making long highway drives practical and fast.

Inside, Tesla maintains its globally recognised minimalist layout — dominated by a large central touchscreen, few physical buttons, and an expansive glass roof. Standard tech includes adaptive cruise control, a suite of driver-assist features, and built-in navigation with charge-planning tools.
The Model Y’s optional Full Self-Driving suite is among the most advanced available globally, though use of some autonomous features in India may depend on regulatory approvals.
