The Maruti Suzuki Ritz was a practical hatchback positioned between the WagonR and Swift. It came with both petrol (1.2L K-Series) and diesel (1.3L DDiS) engines, offering a blend of performance and fuel efficiency. The Ritz was known for its tall-boy stance, spacious interiors, and high seating position. With features like power windows, music system, and dual airbags in higher trims, it offered good value for families. The diesel version was especially appreciated for highway performance and efficiency. Though polarizing in design due to its tall rear, it found a strong following among practical car buyers. The Ritz was eventually discontinued and succeeded by models like the Ignis and Celerio.
