2025 Renault Kiger Launched with New Features, Starting at ₹6.10 Lakh

The French automaker's subcompact SUV, Renault Kiger, has received a feature upgrade in India. The updated model lineup comes in 9 variants (including 5 manual, 2 AMT, and 2 CVT), with prices ranging from ₹6.10 lakh to ₹11 lakh. The prices of the entry-level RXE, RXL, and RXL AMT variants have been increased by ₹10,000, ₹25,000, and ₹25,000, respectively.

The company has updated the 2025 Renault Kiger lineup by removing the RXT, RXT AMT, RXZ AMT, and RXT Turbo variants. Additionally, the carmaker has reduced the price of the RXT (O) Turbo CVT variant by ₹30,000, making it more affordable. Now, buyers can opt for the CVT automatic variant within ₹10 lakh.

2025 Renault Kiger Features Update

Renault has updated this popular subcompact SUV by adding several variant features. All variants come with four power windows and central locking as standard. Previously, these features were available only from the second base RXL trim.

Additionally, for an extra ₹25,000, the RXL trim has been upgraded with an 8.0-inch touchscreen featuring wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a reverse parking camera, and steering-mounted controls, which were earlier available only from the RXT trim. The company claims that the Kiger RXL is now the most affordable SUV in its segment to offer a factory-fitted touchscreen infotainment system.

However, the higher-spec RXT (O) trim now comes with 16-inch flex wheels. These are essentially steel wheels with plastic covers designed to look like alloy wheels. Previously, the RXT (O) trim was offered with diamond-cut alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the top-spec RXZ trim has been updated with a remote engine start feature.

2025 Renault Kiger Powertrain

There are no changes to the powertrain of the updated Renault Kiger. It continues to be powered by the same 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol engines.

1. The 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 72bhp and 96Nm of peak torque and is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT transmission.
2. The 1.0L turbo petrol engine delivers 100hp and 152Nm (160Nm with CVT) and is offered with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.
