Maruti Brezza Tops Sub-4-Meter SUV Segment
Maruti Brezza secured the top position in the sub-4-meter SUV segment. It emerged as the best-selling SUV in this category for the financial year 2024-25. Meanwhile, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Kia Sonet also witnessed a significant rise in sales. Let’s take a look at the top 5 cars in this segment.
Maruti Brezza
Holding the number one spot in terms of sales, the Brezza saw a slight increase in its numbers. In the last financial year, it attracted a total of 1,89,163 new buyers. This figure shows an 11% growth compared to the 1,69,897 units sold in FY24.
Customers can buy the Brezza at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹8.69 lakh, which goes up to ₹14.14 lakh for the top-end variant. The company offers it with features like a sunroof, head-up display, 9-inch SmartPlay infotainment system, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, and standard 6 airbags for safety. Its maximum claimed mileage is 25.51 km/kg.
Tata Nexon
Tata Nexon holds the second position in terms of sales. This popular SUV garnered 1,63,088 new customers in the last financial year. However, this figure indicates a slight decline of 5% compared to the 1,71,697 units sold in FY2024.
Hyundai Venue
Despite a decline in sales, the Venue secured the third position. This budget-friendly SUV attracted a total of 1,19,113 new customers in FY25. This figure reflects an 8% drop compared to the 1,28,897 units sold in FY24.
Kia Sone
At the fourth spot is the Kia Sonet. This SUV garnered 99,805 new customers in the last financial year. Compared to the 81,384 units sold in FY24, this marks a 23% increase.
Mahindra XUV 3XO
Riding on a strong surge in annual sales, the XUV 3XO made its way into the list of the top 5 sub-4-meter SUVs. It attracted 98,091 new customers in FY25, showing an impressive 82% growth over the 53,962 units sold in FY24.

- Nissan Magnite: 27,884 units
