The Maruti Celerio offers an ARAI-claimed mileage of 25.24 kmpl with the petrol manual, 26.68 kmpl with the AMT, and 34.43 km/kg in CNG mode. For safety, it now comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, reverse parking sensors and hill hold assist.
2. Maruti Swift
The new Maruti Swift is strong in terms of safety. In the domestic market, this hatchback starts at ₹6.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine and also offers a CNG option.
The petrol model of the Maruti Swift delivers a mileage of 24.80 kmpl to 25.75 kmpl, while the CNG model offers up to 32.85 km/kg. In terms of safety, it comes with 6 airbags, rear parking sensors, a rear parking camera, ISOFIX child seat anchors, a hill hold assist, and an electronic stability program (ESP).
3. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
This is the only 5-star safety-rated car from the company. The starting price of this sedan is ₹6.84 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine and also offers a CNG powertrain option. The CNG model delivers a mileage of up to 33.73 km/kg.
For safety, the Dzire features 6 airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist, brake assist, 3-point seat belts for all seats, and ISOFIX mounts. It has received a 5-star rating in the GNCAP crash test.
4. Maruti Jimny
The only off-roader SUV from Maruti Suzuki, the Jimny starts at ₹12.75 lakh (ex-showroom) in the domestic market. It is available with a 1.5-liter petrol engine and comes with a 4x4 drivetrain.
In terms of safety, it includes 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, and a rearview camera.
