After the conclusion of the financial year 2023-24, vehicle manufacturers officially released last year's car sales report for the auto market, which was quite impressive.
1. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R: The first name on this list is Maruti's Wagon R. This car has consistently been at the top of the best-selling list every month and sold a total of 2,00,177 units in FY 2023-24. Its starting price is Rs. 5.54 lakhs (ex-showroom).
2. Maruti Suzuki Baleno: Maruti's Baleno is a popular car, and it sold a total of 1,95,607 units in FY 2023-24. It is priced at around Rs. 6.66 lakhs in the market.
3. Maruti Suzuki Swift: The Swift has been popular among people for a long time. In the previous financial year 2023-24, a total of 1,95,321 units of this car were sold, starting at Rs. 5.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
4. Tata Nexon: Tata Nexon secured the fourth position on this list. Since its launch, this car has been quite popular, selling a total of 1,71,697 units in FY 2023-24. Its starting price is Rs. 8.15 lakhs (ex-showroom).
5. Tata Punch: Tata's Punch car is in the fifth position on this list. Its sales have been increasing every month, and in FY 2023-24, a total of 1,70,076 units were sold, priced at Rs. 6.13 lakhs (ex-showroom).
6. Maruti Suzuki Brezza: Maruti Suzuki's Brezza SUV is in the sixth position on this list. In FY 2023-24, a total of 1,69,897 units were sold, available in the market from around Rs. 8.34 lakhs.
7. Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Maruti Dzire is the highest-selling car in its segment. It is at the seventh position on this list, with a total of 1,64,517 units sold in FY 2023-24. The price of this car is Rs. 6.56 lakhs (ex-showroom).
8. Hyundai Creta: Hyundai Creta is in the eighth position on this list. In FY 2023-24, 1,61,653 units of Creta were sold. The new Creta facelift was launched in January, priced starting from Rs. 10.99 lakhs (ex-showroom).
9. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga: Maruti's Ertiga is in the ninth position on this list. It is a popular family car, and in FY 2023-24, a total of 1,49,757 units were sold, starting at Rs. 8.69 lakhs (ex-showroom).
10. Mahindra Scorpio: Mahindra Scorpio is in the tenth position on this list. In FY 2023-24, a total of 1,41,462 units of Scorpio were sold. This includes both the Mahindra Scorpio Classic and Mahindra Scorpio N. Its starting price is Rs. 13.59 lakhs (ex-showroom).
