All-New Kia Seltos Debuts: Book Now for ₹25,000

Kia Motors has unveiled the all-new Seltos. This mid-size SUV is now bolder, more feature-packed, and more progressive, ready to take on competitors like the Hyundai Creta, Tata Harrier, and MG Hector in the Indian market. It will be launched in India on 2 January 2026, with expected starting prices of around ₹12 lakh. Let’s take a look at the highlights of the new All-New Kia Seltos.

The exterior design of the new Seltos has been completely redesigned. It features a wider front grille, vertical LED DRLs, and a split headlamp setup. The side profile gets smooth lines, blacked-out pillars, roof rails, and a larger rear spoiler that gives it a premium look. The rear also includes vertical LED tail-lamps and a cleaner layout.

The SUV now comes with new 18-inch alloy wheels. It is 50mm longer and 30mm wider than the previous model, improving cabin space and ground clearance.

The All-New Kia Seltos continues to offer the same three engine options tuned for Indian roads:

1.5-litre turbo-petrol producing 160 BHP and 253 Nm

1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol (115 BHP, 144 Nm)

1.5-litre CRDi VGT diesel (114 BHP, 250 Nm)

Transmission options include a 6-speed manual, CVT automatic, and 7-speed DCT.

A strong-hybrid powertrain may also be added later, although there is no official confirmation yet.

The interior gets a major upgrade with a 30-inch connected display panel for the infotainment system and digital driver display, similar to the Kia Syros.

Safety features include 6 airbags and Level-2 ADAS, offering Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and Forward Collision Avoidance.

Bookings for the All-New Kia Seltos start tonight. Customers can book it at dealerships or through the Kia website with a ₹25,000 token amount.

The official prices will be announced on 2 January 2026.
