Renault and
Nissan sell several products in the Indian market through their partnership. In
the first month of the financial year 2025-26, i.e., April 2025, sales of both
companies have slightly declined. We bring you the model-wise sales report of
both companies.
On one hand,
Nissan recorded sales of 1,825 units last month, which is a 24% year-on-year
decline. Meanwhile, Renault sold 2,602 units last month, which is 30% less
compared to 3,707 units sold in April 2024.
Nissan Magnite
At the top of the list is the Nissan Magnite. Last month, this
popular SUV got 1,749 new customers. This figure represents a 27% decline
compared to 2,404 units sold in April 2024. You can buy the Magnite starting at
an ex-showroom price of just ₹6.14 lakh. The company offers it with features
such as multi-color ambient lighting, a leatherette instrument panel, 336
liters of boot space, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay with a 7-inch digital
instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, standard 6 airbags, a 360-degree
camera, and TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System).
Nissan X-Trail
In terms of sales, the Nissan X-Trail ranks second.
This popular 7-seater SUV attracted only 76 new customers last month. It is
worth noting that the X-Trail hasn’t even completed a full year since its
launch.
Renault Triber
The country's most affordable 7-seater
car saw a slight dip in sales in April. A total of 1,401 new customers bought
it last month, reflecting a 16% decline compared to 1,671 units sold in April
2024.
Renault Kiger
The sales of the Kiger have seen a
significant drop. Last month, 606 new customers purchased the car, which is a
43% decrease compared to the 1,059 units sold in April 2024.
Renault Kwid
Listed among the most affordable cars
in the country, the Renault Kwid
also experienced a sales decline. Last month, it found 595 new customers,
representing a 39% drop from the 977 units sold in April 2024.
