Exterior Design Updates

The Honda Elevate facelift gets a refreshed front and rear design while retaining the basic silhouette of the existing SUV.

One of the most noticeable changes is the revised front grille. Honda has introduced segmented LED daytime-running lights integrated into the front design, while the Honda logo has reportedly been moved from the grille area to the bonnet. M

At the rear, the facelift gets a connected LED tail-light treatment, giving the SUV a more contemporary appearance. Other expected changes include revised bumpers and updated exterior detailing.

The latest teaser also indicates that the 17-inch alloy wheel design may continue, although the facelift could receive additional design changes depending on the variant.

Honda Elevate Facelift Interior Changes

Honda is also expected to make changes inside the cabin. The teaser images show a revised dashboard treatment with a lighter interior theme and ambient lighting across the dashboard and door areas.

The updated Elevate could also receive additional comfort and convenience features. Reports indicate that features such as ventilated front seats, powered co-driver seat, rear sunblinds and dual-zone climate control could be introduced, although Honda has not confirmed the complete equipment list yet.

A 360-degree camera has also been reported in the latest teaser, which would be a notable upgrade over the outgoing model's equipment.

Engine and Transmission

The mechanical package of the Honda Elevate facelift is expected to remain unchanged.

The existing SUV uses a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing around 121hp and 145Nm. It is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-step CVT automatic transmission.

There has been speculation about Honda introducing the strong-hybrid system used by the City. However, current reports indicate that a hybrid powertrain has not been confirmed for the Elevate facelift, with the existing petrol engine expected to continue.

Expected Honda Elevate Facelift Price

Honda has not announced the official price of the facelift yet. The current Elevate's ex-showroom price is reported in the roughly ₹11.8 lakh to ₹16.8 lakh range, depending on the source and variant. The facelift is expected to receive a price revision after the feature and styling updates.

The exact variant-wise prices, features and specifications will become clear on October 6.

Honda Elevate Facelift Rivals

The updated Elevate will continue to compete in India's crowded mid-size SUV segment. Its rivals include:

  • Hyundai Creta
  • Kia Seltos
  • Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
  • Maruti Suzuki Vitara
  • Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder
  • Skoda Kushaq
  • Volkswagen Taigun
  • Tata Sierra
  • Renault Duster

The facelift therefore focuses on design and equipment upgrades rather than a complete change to the Elevate's underlying mechanical package.

Honda Elevate Facelift Launch Date

The Honda Elevate facelift will officially launch in India on October 6, 2026. Honda has positioned India as the first market globally for the updated SUV. The launch comes just ahead of the festive season, when demand for new cars typically increases.

With pre-bookings already underway for ₹21,000, buyers can reserve the facelifted SUV before the official price announcement. The launch event should reveal the complete variant lineup, prices, features, colours and delivery details.
