Hyundai has halted production of these 2 cars in Europe.

Hyundai has announced that the production of the Hyundai i30 N and i20 N models for the European market has officially ceased. This decision by Hyundai is aligned with the company's goals to provide customers with a fully zero-emission vehicle lineup by 2035 and achieve 100% carbon neutrality by 2045. Let's learn more about the complete news.

With an eye toward a zero-emission future, Hyundai has discontinued two of its ICE cars in the European market. The company has stated that production of the Hyundai i30 N and i20 N models for the European market has officially ceased.

The production was halted as part of Hyundai's commitment to achieving a fully zero-emission vehicle lineup for customers by 2035 and attaining 100% carbon neutrality by 2045. The discontinuation of these petrol-powered N models will benefit the Ioniq 5 N EV.

The special features of the i20 N and i30 N

This step is in line with the extensive industry trend towards electric mobility and sustainable practices. It aligns with global efforts within the automotive industry towards stability and reduced environmental impact. The i30 N, introduced in 2017, marked the company's first step into the hot hatch market, garnering praise for its chassis and turbocharged engine.

In its 2021 facelift, improvements were made, including the addition of a dual-clutch transmission option and increased power. Introduced in 2021 to compete in the mini segment, the i20 N showcased small dimensions, lightweight construction, and dynamic capabilities. However, it does not match the sales figures of the i30 N.
