Hyundai Motor
India began FY 2025-26 with a slight decline in April 2025. Last month, the
company sold 44,374 units, which is around 12% lower compared to the 50,201
units sold in April 2024. Let’s take a look at the company’s model-wise sales
report:
Hyundai Creta
Thanks to a surge in sales, the
Hyundai Creta topped the list. Last month, it attracted a total of
17,016 new customers. This figure shows a 10% increase compared to the 15,447
units sold in April 2024.
The starting
ex-showroom price of the Creta is ₹11.11 lakh. The company offers it with
features like a 10.25-inch digital driver display, climate control panel,
360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, ventilated front
seats, Level-2 ADAS, and six standard airbags.
Hyundai Venue
The Venue secured the second spot on the list. This affordable SUV was chosen
by 7,953 new customers last month. However, this marks a 13% decline compared
to the 9,120 units sold in April 2024.
Hyundai Exter
In terms of sales, the Exter, which ranks third, saw a significant decline.
Last month, it attracted just 5,416 new customers—a sharp 30% drop compared to
the 7,756 units sold in April 2024.
Hyundai Grand
i10
The
Grand i10 comes in fourth on the list. This budget-friendly
hatchback was purchased by 4,137 customers last month, marking a 19% decrease
from the 5,117 units sold in April 2024.
Hyundai Aura
Despite a modest slip in numbers, the Aura held onto its spot in the company’s
top five. It recorded 4,224 new buyers last month, down 7% from the 4,526 units
sold in April 2024.
Beyond these
top-five models, April 2025 sales included 3,525 units of the i20, 1,017 units
of the Alcazar, 1,005 units of the Verna, 65 units of the Tucson, and just 16 units of the Ioniq 5.
Excluding the Creta, every other model saw a month-on-month decline in April
2025.
