Kia is extending limited period pre-GST savings of up to Rs.
2.25 lakh on select models with the scheme running only till September 22
Kia India has
kickstarted the festive season with a big announcement for customers looking to
secure a new car before GST 2.0 kicks in. The company is extending limited
period savings of up to Rs. 2.25 lakh on select models with the scheme running
only till 22 September 2025. The benefits are a mix of pre-GST price cuts and
special festive offers. The overall package combines up to Rs. 58,000 in
GST-based savings with additional festive benefits that go as high as Rs. 1.67
lakh – depending on the region and the model chosen. It is to ensure that
customers across different states get access to meaningful value while at the
same time allowing Kia to boost demand in a market that is already heating up
ahead of Navratri and Diwali. Among the headline offers, the Kia Seltos gets
the maximum benefit of up to Rs. 2.25 lakh in Kerala while other states such as
Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh also see benefits well above the Rs. 2
lakh mark. In most northern and western markets, the midsize five-seater SUV is
being offered with savings capped at Rs. 1.75 lakh.
The Carens Clavis, Kia’s new entrant, also sees worthy
benefits with festive deals varying across states. For example, customers in
Tamil Nadu can unlock up to Rs. 1.55 lakh in savings while those in the north
and west can claim up to Rs. 1.45 lakh. On the other hand, Kerala offers a
slightly lower benefit at Rs. 1.25 lakh and Karnataka buyers see Rs. 88,650 as
the maximum available on the Clavis. For the regular Carens, the discounts are
more uniform with benefits typically hovering between Rs. 1.10 lakh and Rs.
1.30 lakh depending on the region. Tamil Nadu tops the chart for this model –
offering up to Rs. 1.30 lakh in combined benefits while states like Karnataka
and the East zone see slightly lower slabs around Rs. 1.10 to Rs. 1.20 lakh.
Instead of waiting for the GST reduction to officially
reflect in prices post 22 September, consumers can make their purchase now
