Mahindra XUV7XO has been launched in the Indian car market with both petrol and diesel engine options. If you are planning to buy a 7-seater SUV with a diesel engine, the XUV7XO can be a good option. Let’s take a look at its on-road price and EMI details.

The Mahindra XUV7XO with a diesel engine is available at a starting ex-showroom price of ₹13,66,000. If you buy this SUV in Delhi, you will have to pay ₹1,48,600 as RTO tax, ₹84,129 for insurance, and around ₹14,160 as additional charges. With all these costs included, the on-road price comes to ₹16,12,889.

If you make a down payment of ₹1 lakh, the remaining ₹15,12,889 will need to be financed through a car loan. Assuming an interest rate of 10% for a tenure of 5 years, your monthly EMI will be ₹34,269, which you will pay over 60 months.

Over the 5-year loan period, after making the ₹1 lakh down payment, you will pay a total of ₹4,43,258 as interest across 60 EMIs. As a result, the total cost of the car after interest will be ₹21,56,147, including the down payment.

In terms of safety, the SUV is based on a platform that has received a 5-star Global NCAP rating. It offers 6–7 airbags, ESP, TPMS, ISOFIX mounts, and ADAS features, ensuring strong overall safety.

The Mahindra XUV7XO is offered with a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 200 PS and 380 Nm, and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine delivering 185 PS and 420–450 Nm of torque. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and automatic, with AWD available on the top diesel variant.

In terms of fuel efficiency, the petrol version delivers around 13–15 kmpl, while the diesel version offers 13–17 kmpl.
