Maruti Cars in High Demand: 5,000+ Sold Daily!

Maruti Suzuki cars have a unique craze in the domestic market. As always, in March, Maruti Suzuki surpassed Mahindra and Tata, recording sales of 1,50,743 vehicle units. This success of the company has been significantly contributed to by models ranging from the Alto K10 to the Grand Vitara. Let’s take a look at the Maruti Suzuki Sales Report.

Massive Demand for Maruti Suzuki Cars

Despite a slight decline in sales on a year-on-year basis, Maruti Suzuki remains far ahead of other automakers. The company sold a total of 1,50,743 units in the domestic market in March 2025, compared to 1,52,718 units in March 2024.

Additionally, in FY2024-25, the company's total domestic sales stood at 1,760,767 units, compared to 1,759,781 units in FY2023-24. Maruti Suzuki also exported 32,968 units last month, marking a 27% year-on-year increase.

Compact Segment Sales

Maruti Suzuki sold the highest number of cars in the compact segment. This list includes Baleno, Celerio, Wagon R, Swift, Ignis, and Dzire, with approximately 67,000 units sold in the domestic market.

Mini Segment Sales

In the mini segment, Maruti Suzuki Alto and S-Presso were purchased by 11,655 new customers last month. In comparison, 11,829 units of these two cars were sold in March 2024.

Booming SUV Demand

Maruti Suzuki also achieved tremendous success in the SUV segment, selling 61,097 units. This includes Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Invicto, Jimny, and XL6. Notably, in March 2024, these SUVs were purchased by 58,436 customers.

Eeco Van Sales

Maruti Suzuki’s only Eeco Van was purchased by 10,409 new customers last month. In comparison, 12,019 units were sold in March 2024.

Maruti Suzuki Cars to Get Expensive Soon

Maruti Suzuki has already announced that it will increase car prices from April 2025. The company plans to hike prices by up to 4%, with an official announcement expected soon.
