Maruti Suzuki Victoris Gets Price Cut Of Up To Rs 38,900 On Select Variants
By CarVaidyaIndia's largest
carmaker Maruti Suzuki launched the Victoris SUV last year. Since its launch,
the Maruti Suzuki Victoris has become the second best-selling C-segment
mid-size SUV in India, outselling its stablemates, the Grand Vitara and
Toyota's Hyryder, both of which share its platform.
Now, despite prices rising across its vehicle
lineup, Maruti Suzuki has reduced prices on select Victoris variants this
month. Prices for select variants of the Maruti Victoris have been slashed by
up to Rs 38,900 (ex-showroom) depending on the trim level.
Only the ZXi (O) and ZXi Plus (O) trims of the
Maruti Suzuki Victoris with the naturally aspirated petrol manual and automatic
transmissions have received the Rs 38,900 cut to their ex-showroom prices. This
price cut applies to all four variants of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris that fall
under these two trim levels, which now range from Rs 14.08 lakh to Rs 17.77
lakh (ex-showroom).
| Variant | New Price (Ex-showroom) | Old Price (Ex-showroom) | Price Cut |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZXi (O) NA Petrol MT | Rs 13.69 lakh | Rs 14.08 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi Plus (O) NA Petrol MT | Rs 15.43 lakh | Rs 15.82 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi (O) NA Petrol AT | Rs 15.25 lakh | Rs 15.64 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
| ZXi Plus (O) NA Petrol AT | Rs 17.38 lakh | Rs 17.77 lakh | Rs 38,900 |
The LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus variants of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris with the naturally aspirated petrol engine, manual
transmission and FWD layout carry no price cut this month. NA Petrol automatic
FWD variants across the same trims also remain unchanged. All the CNG and
Strong Hybrid variants of the Maruti Victoris have not seen a price cut either.
Among Maruti Suzuki's own lineup, the Victoris is
the most cutting-edge offering and the flagship of its Arena range. The
Victoris is currently the only home-grown Maruti Suzuki product with a powered
tailgate, ADAS, a TFT instrument cluster, an underbody CNG tank and a 10.1-inch
touchscreen. Some of these features are expected to be added to the Grand
Vitara in the near future, though Maruti Suzuki has not disclosed a timeline
for when its Nexa flagship will get the updates. The Victoris remains Maruti Suzuki's most feature-loaded product following this price revision.
