On the second day of Auto Expo 2025, MG made a grand entry by unveiling the new Majestor SUV. This SUV is set to launch in the Indian market with a bold look, powerful performance, and advanced safety features. The new Majestor SUV is positioned as a competitor to the Toyota Fortuner. Highlights of the MG Majestor

Talking about the front design of the new MG Majestor, it features an attractive new grille, redesigned bumper, sleek LED DRLs, and headlamps. The side profile showcases striking alloy wheels. At the rear, the SUV gets connected LED tail lights and a new bumper.

Interior and Features

The interior of the MG Majestor is equally impressive. It features a new dashboard layout. In terms of features, the new Majestor SUV comes equipped with a free-standing 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a customizable interface, and a fully digital instrument cluster. The cabin is expected to sport an all-black theme. Additionally, it is likely to offer a panoramic sunroof, heated, cooled, and massaging driver seat with power adjustment, heated passenger seat, three-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, a 12-speaker audio system, and an electric tailgate.

Safety Features

For passenger safety, the MG Majestor is expected to offer multiple airbags, Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, auto headlamps and wipers, a tire pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.

Powertrain

The MG Majestor might come equipped with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel and twin-turbo diesel engine, delivering 216 hp of power and 479 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and could also feature a 4x4 drivetrain option.

Expected Price

As for the price, the MG Majestor is likely to be priced higher than the MG Gloster. According to media reports, the Majestor's price could range between ₹40 lakh and ₹45 lakh. In the domestic market, it will compete with models like the Toyota Fortuner, Jeep Meridian, Skoda Kodiaq, and Nissan X-Trail.
