Mahindra is preparing to launch the facelifted version of its popular SUV, the Scorpio N, in the Indian market soon. According to reports, the facelift model will receive several major updates across design, features, and safety. The new Scorpio N will be more premium and technology-loaded than before, giving tough competition to SUVs like the Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar. Let’s take a look at the expected details.

New Design and Exterior Updates

The exterior look of the Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift will remain largely similar to the current model, but it is expected to get several small yet noticeable updates. These may include an updated front grille with horizontal slats, newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, and a revised front bumper. Spy shots from testing have clearly revealed a new panoramic sunroof.

New Feature Updates

The biggest updates in the Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift will be seen in the interior and feature list. It will get a dual-pane panoramic sunroof for the first time. A 360-degree camera has also been confirmed. Inside, the SUV is expected to feature a 10.25-inch or larger free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a new digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, a premium sound system, and improved material quality for a more upmarket feel.

Safety Features

In terms of safety, the Scorpio N Facelift will be even more advanced than before. It is likely to offer a full Level 2 ADAS suite, including features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Forward Collision Warning. Along with the 360-degree camera, these features will make driving the SUV safer and more convenient.

Engine and Performance

There will be no major changes to the engine lineup. The new Scorpio N Facelift will continue to offer the existing 2.0L turbo petrol engine producing 200 PS, and the 2.2L diesel engine with power outputs of 130 PS and 172 PS. It will be available with both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes, along with 2WD and 4WD options. Overall performance, power delivery, and off-road capability will remain unchanged.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline

The Mahindra Scorpio N Facelift is expected to be priced between ₹14 lakh and ₹26 lakh (ex-showroom). It is likely to be launched by the end of 2026. This facelifted Scorpio N could prove to be a game-changer for buyers looking for a well-balanced package that offers strong performance, premium features, advanced safety, and a rugged SUV appeal.
