Hyundai's cars are quite popular in the Indian automobile market, especially the recently launched new 'Creta facelift' SUV, which people are really liking. According to reports, Hyundai is soon going to launch the Creta EV.

The Hyundai Creta EV has been spotted multiple times during testing. It is believed that production of the first electric SUV built in India could start as early as December this year. Additionally, the company is planning to launch 5 new electric cars by 2030

According to sources, the new Hyundai Creta electric car will be based on the 'Creta facelift' design, which was recently spotted during test drives. It will feature an attractive grille, an updated bumper, and a charging port on the exterior. Additionally, alloy wheels will also be included.

The features of the Hyundai Creta EV: The new Hyundai Creta EV will feature dual displays for the infotainment system and instrument cluster, a new steering wheel, steering column-mounted drive selector, AC vents, panoramic sunroof, and dual-zone climate control.

Additionally, for safety, it will offer 6 airbags, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System), parking sensors, and other features. The new Hyundai Creta EV will come with a larger battery pack, available in options of 50kWh or 60kWh.

According to reports, the Creta EV will provide a range of approximately 500 kilometers on a full charge. It will compete in the Indian market with heavyweight electric cars like the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400.

Meanwhile, currently in the domestic market, the Hyundai Creta facelift SUV with ICE engine is available at an ex-showroom price ranging from ₹11 lakh to ₹20.15 lakh. It is available in various variants including E, EX, S, SX (O), and comes in attractive colors such as Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, and Atlas White.

The Hyundai Creta facelift car is available with options of a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Depending on the variant, it is available with options of 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, CVT, and 7-speed DCT gearbox.
