The new Seltos features a bolder exterior design. It gets a larger grille, sleek LED headlights, flush door handles, and 18-inch alloy wheels. With a length of 4,460 mm and a wheelbase of 2,690 mm, it appears bigger than the Creta, which measures 4,330 mm in length with a 2,610 mm wheelbase. The Creta, on the other hand, offers a more premium but less aggressive look, highlighted by its muscular parametric grille and split LED lighting. The Seltos also stands out with more stylish roof rails and a rear spoiler.

The Seltos’ cabin has a sporty theme with black-and-orange trims, soft-touch materials, ergonomic seats, and a spacious feel with better legroom and headroom. The Creta focuses more on luxury, featuring beige and pastel tones, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, and a comfortable rear bench. Both SUVs offer a boot space in the range of 433–447 litres.

Both models come equipped with dual 10.25-inch screens, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, and connected car technology. The Seltos adds a Bose 8-speaker sound system, a 360-degree camera, and 8-way powered seats, making it feel more driver-centric. Meanwhile, the Creta offers features like a rear wireless charger, LED reading lights, and a smart key system.

Both SUVs are equipped with 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, TPMS, and Level-2 ADAS features such as lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. The Seltos offers some additional safety advantages, including 21 ADAS features, all-wheel disc brakes, and a 360-degree camera. The Creta, meanwhile, is known for better vehicle stability management. The Bharat NCAP crash test ratings for both models are still pending.

Both SUVs are available with three engine options: a 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine (113 hp, 144 Nm), a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine (158 hp), and a 1.5L diesel engine (115 hp). Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, CVT/iVT, and a 7-speed DCT. The Seltos is tuned for a sportier driving experience with better throttle response, while the Creta is more comfort-oriented. Design and select features set these two SUVs apart, though overall performance remains largely similar.
