Škoda India has launched the facelift version of its popular mid-size SUV, the Skoda Kushaq. The updated model is available in five variants – Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. With this pricing range, the company aims to target a wide range of customers, from entry-level buyers to performance-oriented users. Notably, even the base variant now comes with more features and automatic options, enhancing its overall value.

Škoda is
offering the ‘Skoda Super Care’ package with this SUV, which includes a 4-year
or 1 lakh km warranty, 4 years of roadside assistance, and 4 free services.
Customers also have the option to extend the warranty up to 8 years, reducing
long-term maintenance concerns.
Modern Solid Design with a Fresh Look
The new Kushaq Facelift features Škoda’s latest ‘Modern Solid’ design language. It comes with slim LED headlights, L-shaped DRLs, and a connected light bar integrated into the grille, giving it a more premium appearance. The front bumper has been redesigned with a silver skid plate, adding a strong SUV stance. The Monte Carlo variant gets gloss black elements and red accents for a sportier appeal. At the rear, a full-width LED light bar and illuminated SKODA badging provide a modern touch.Better Combination of Technology and Comfort
Inside the cabin, the car offers a more premium and modern experience. It features a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system running on updated software. Like its predecessor, it retains a 5-star Global NCAP safety rating. Additional features such as rain-sensing wipers and an auto-dimming IRVM further enhance safety.Engine and Gearbox Updates
One of the biggest updates in the Kushaq Facelift is in its engine and gearbox. The 1.0 TSI engine now comes with an 8-speed torque converter automatic, replacing the earlier 6-speed unit, making the drive smoother and more comfortable. It is also available with a 6-speed manual transmission.The more powerful 1.5 TSI engine produces 150
hp and is paired with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This variant now also
gets disc brakes on all four wheels, improving braking performance. It features
Active Cylinder Technology, which helps balance power and efficiency.
Performance and Mileage Balance
Škoda has aimed to strike a good balance between performance and fuel efficiency. The 1.0 TSI manual variant delivers a mileage of 19.66 km/l (ARAI), while the new 8-speed automatic offers up to 19.09 km/l. The more powerful 1.5 TSI DSG variant provides a mileage of 18.72 km/l (ARAI).The 1.5 TSI engine’s Active Cylinder
