has introduced its best-selling electric car in a new avatar. Along with an
updated price, the range of the MG
Windsor EV Pro has also increased as the company has equipped it with a
larger battery pack. Let's find out what changes have been made to the new
Windsor EV.

Pro Price
The new
Windsor EV, with its increased range and some significant changes, can now be
purchased at an introductory ex-showroom price starting from ₹17.49 lakh.
However, this is an introductory price valid for the first 8,000 bookings. Under
the BaaS (Battery as a Service) scheme, it can be bought for just ₹12,49,999,
with a battery rental cost of ₹4.5 per kilometer.
What's New in
MG Windsor EV Pro
The biggest
change in the Windsor EV Pro is the new battery pack. Its 52.9 kWh prismatic cell
battery pack is capable of delivering a claimed range of 449 km on a single
charge. Previously, this range was limited to just 331 km. Additionally, as new
updates, the Windsor EV Pro
gets Autonomous Level-2 ADAS, vehicle-to-load (V2L) capacity, and a dual-tone
ivory interior. Speaking of other features, the company offers it with a BaaS
Program along with a 3-60 buyback plan. This means that even after 3 years, the
car will have an assured buyback value of 60%. However, this offer will be
limited to the first 9,000 bookings.
Design
No significant changes have been made
to the design of the new Windsor EV. Only the ADAS radar sensor can be seen at
the front. Similar to the previously available model, it features connected LED
DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) at the front and rear, and LED taillights, which
give it a modern EV look. It also gets 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and
flush-fitting door handles.
Features
In addition to the features and
updates mentioned earlier, the Windsor
EV Pro can also be purchased with premium features such as a panoramic
glass roof, a 15.6-inch touchscreen system, a wireless phone charger, an
8.8-inch digital driver display, 6 airbags for safety, a 360-degree camera,
Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System
(TPMS).
