Maruti Suzuki Swift: After the Wagon R, this is the most selling car. The company sold 1,95,312 units of Swift in the last financial year. However, it has not lived up to customers' expectations in terms of safety.
In the Global NCAP crash test, Maruti Swift has obtained a 1-star safety rating in the adult safety category and a 1-star rating in the child safety category. The starting price of Swift in the market is 5.99 lakh rupees (ex-showroom). With a petrol engine, it provides a mileage of 22.56 kilometers per liter.
Maruti Suzuki Alto K10: Alto K10 is another budget car available for Maruti's customers. In the financial year 2023-24, 1,11,955 units of this car were sold. However, its safety rating is also disappointing.
In the Global NCAP crash test, Alto K10 received a 2-star safety rating in the adult safety category and a 0-star rating in the child safety category. The starting price of Alto K10 in the market is 3.90 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).
With a petrol engine, it provides a mileage of 24.90 kilometers per liter, and with CNG, it provides a mileage of 33.85 kilometers per liter. This car is highly favored in both rural and urban areas.
