Toyota launched taisor SUV in India

Toyota, a renowned vehicle manufacturer, has launched its Taisor SUV in the Indian market. This car is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx and is launched under the partnership between Maruti Suzuki and Toyota.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Price: Speaking of the price, the new Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor car starts from Rs. 7.74 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 13.04 lakhs (ex-showroom). It is available in several variants.

Since this car is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, its cabin is similar to the Fronx as well. It features a black and maroon-themed interior. The new Taisor is essentially a rebadged version of the Maruti Fronx. With this launch, Toyota has also entered the sub-4-meter SUV segment in India.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Design: Talking about the design of the new Taisor car, its body style is quite similar to the Fronx. However, Toyota has made some cosmetic updates to differentiate it from the donor vehicle.

The new Taisor features an updated grille, new-shaped LED headlamps with a new bumper, new taillamps, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the cabin remains mostly unchanged compared to the Fronx, but a new Toyota badging is added to the steering wheel.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Features: As for the features, the car offers similar amenities to the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. It includes a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, auto AC, wireless phone charging, cruise control, and a head-up display.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Safety Features: For passenger safety, the car comes with six airbags, a hill hold assist, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera.

Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor Powertrain: In terms of the engine, the Taisor offers a choice between a 1.2-liter, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The 1.2-liter engine produces 90hp power and 113Nm torque, paired with a 5-speed manual or optional AMT transmission. The 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual or optional 6-speed torque converter automatic. Additionally, there's an option for a 1.2-liter petrol+CNG engine in the car. In the Indian market, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor competes with cars like the Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonet, Kia Seltos, and Hyundai Venue.
