Which Variant of the Mahindra XUV 7XO Offers the Best Value for Money?

Already holding a strong position in the micro SUV segment, the Punch EV is now entering with an updated design, advanced features, and improved technology. Earlier, Tata Motors also introduced an updated version of the Punch ICE. Let’s take a look at the design, features, range, and expected price details of the new Punch EV Facelift.
In terms of design, the Punch EV facelift gets an updated front bumper, a revised LED headlamp cluster, new LED DRLs, and a sharper, more angled look. At the rear, it features a refreshed fascia and a textured faux silver skid plate. However, there are no major changes in the side profile. New color options such as Bengal Rouge and Yellow have also been added, giving the car a more premium appeal.
The Tata Punch EV Facelift is expected to come with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system featuring a new software interface. Existing features such as the 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless connectivity, 360-degree camera, and other smart functions are likely to be retained. The interior may get new color schemes and updated trim finishes. Connected car technology and OTA (Over-the-Air) updates are also expected.
Safety has always been a key highlight of the Punch EV. The facelift model is expected to offer 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, a 360-degree camera, rear parking sensors, and possibly some ADAS features.
There is no official confirmation yet regarding changes to the powertrain. As per reports, the current battery options are likely to continue:
With 50 kW DC fast charging, the battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 56 minutes. Some reports also suggest the possibility of a larger 40–45 kWh battery pack, which could further improve the driving range.
The expected price of the new Tata Punch EV Facelift is likely to be slightly higher than the current model. The existing Punch EV is priced between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). The facelift version could start from around ₹9.99 lakh and go up to ₹15 lakh, especially for the larger battery variants. Pre-bookings are expected to begin soon after the launch.
