2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza Launched At Rs 7.40 Lakh - Gets Turbo-Petrol Engine
By CarVaidyaIndia's largest
carmaker Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2026 Maruti Brezza facelift at Rs 7.40
lakh, bringing the first major update for the compact SUV in four years. The
revised 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift sports a new turbo-petrol engine,
revised gearbox options, along with a host of added features and a few mild
exterior changes.
The 2026 Maruti Brezza is priced from Rs 7.40 lakh
and goes up to Rs 12.89 lakh (ex-showroom) across its variant range. It will
compete against the Hyundai Venue, Skoda Kylaq, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3XO,
Kia Sonet and Kia Syros in the sub-4-metre SUV segment.
The 2026 Maruti Suzuki Brezza sports a new 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine that produces
110hp and 170Nm of torque. Maruti has also retained the Brezza's 1.5-litre
naturally aspirated petrol engine alongside the new 1.0-litre unit. The NA
petrol option for the Brezza continues to make 103hp and 139Nm of peak torque.
Both engine options for the 2026 Maruti Brezza are offered with a 6-speed
manual gearbox as standard. The 1.5-litre NA engine for the Brezza is also
offered with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The 1.5-litre petrol engine also continues with a
CNG kit option. Maruti has switched to an underbody-mounted CNG kit, similar to
what was first seen on the Victoris, which frees up boot space compared to
previous cylinder setup that saw the storage unit eat up space at the back.

a new triangular housing. Down the sides of the Brezza, the doors get fresh
dual-tone cladding, while the 16-inch alloy wheels feature a new design. At the
