Renault India is offering attractive discounts on all its products in May 2025 to boost sales in the domestic market. Included in the list of discounts is the country's most affordable 7-seater MPV. Let’s find out how much discount can be availed on the purchase of the Renault Triber this month.

Massive Discount on Renault Triber: In May 2025, this most affordable MPV can be purchased with a discount of up to ₹90,000. According to the official website, the VIN 2024 models are available with a discount of up to ₹90,000, while the models made in 2025 are available with a discount of up to ₹50,000.

Price: The ex-showroom price of the Renault Triber starts at ₹6.15 lakh and goes up to ₹8.98 lakh. Customers can choose from four variants: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. In Delhi, it can be purchased at an on-road price of around ₹7 lakh. With the discount, this price will be further reduced.

Features: The Triber comes equipped with advanced features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch digital driver display, wireless charger, smart access card, push-button start, and AC vents for the third row. It also offers a boot space of 625 liters when used in the 5-seater mode.

Safety: The Renault Triber has received a 4-star safety rating for adult protection and a 3-star rating for child safety in the Global NCAP crash tests. It comes equipped with safety features such as 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, reverse camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Engine and Performance: The Triber is powered by a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 71 bhp of power and 96 Nm of torque. Customers can also opt for a CNG variant and choose between a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. The claimed mileage is approximately 18–19 kmpl.

Our Opinion: If you're planning to buy an affordable 7-seater car in the near future, the Renault Triber could be a strong contender. It comfortably accommodates seven passengers. However, some customers have pointed out that the engine feels slightly underpowered compared to its competitors.
