Starting today, Kia India has opened the booking window for its latest offering, the Syros SUV. Customers can book this brand-new SUV from today, i.e., January 3. However, the company has not yet disclosed its price or delivery details. It will be showcased to the public at the 2025 Auto Expo. Booking Details

The Kia Syros, which comes with several segment-first features, can be booked for just ₹25,000. The company has officially announced that the variant-wise price list for this sub-4-meter SUV will be revealed on February 1. It is expected that deliveries of this SUV will begin by the end of February.

What’s Special About the Kia Syros

Developed on the company’s reinforced K1 platform, this affordable SUV will be positioned between the Seltos and Sonet. Even its base variant is packed with features. Compared to the Sonet, this SUV with a longer wheelbase is equipped with advanced features like Level-2 ADAS and a sunroof.

Interior and Features

Talking about the cabin, it gets a 12.3-inch dual-screen setup for infotainment and driver display, dual-zone automatic AC, a 4-way powered driver seat, ambient lighting, a wireless phone charger, powered windows, captain seats, and a dual-pane sunroof.

Safety

In terms of safety, it comes equipped with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS.

Engine and Performance

The new Kia Syros is offered with two engine options. Customers can choose between diesel and petrol variants. The first option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine that generates 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of peak torque. The second is a 1-liter turbo petrol engine that produces 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of peak torque.

You can opt for a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox with this SUV. The mileage of Kia's new 5-seater SUV has not been revealed yet. Its estimated starting price is expected to be between ₹9-10 lakh (ex-showroom). There are also expectations that it might be introduced in an electric version in the future.
