Honda ZR-V Hybrid Revealed As Flagship SUV For India
By CarVaidyaHonda has revealed the ZR-V Hybrid as its new flagship SUV
in India, introduced alongside the City facelift launch. The SUV arrives as a
completely built unit (CBU) import in limited numbers, with pre-bookings
already open and deliveries set to begin in July 2026.
Powering the ZR-V is a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a
dual-motor strong-hybrid system, producing a combined 184hp and 315Nm. Drive
goes to the front wheels via an e-CVT, with Honda claiming a 0-100km/h sprint
time in 8 seconds, an electronically limited top speed of 172km/h, and fuel
efficiency of 22.79km/l.
The Honda ZR-V carries a sleek silhouette (for an SUV) with
LED headlights featuring L-shaped DRLs, a black grille, and functional front
air vents. In profile, 18-inch alloy wheels sit within gloss-black cladded
arches, complemented by flush-type roof rails. At the rear, separately
positioned taillights without a connecting light bar give the ZR-V a clean
look. Dual exhaust outlets flank a silver trim on the black rear bumper, while
a roof spoiler and rear wiper-washer round out the exterior.
