Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has launched a new Pro
Pack for its popular micro-SUV, the Hyundai Exter. The starting price of the
Hyundai Exter Pro Pack is ₹7,98,390 (ex-showroom). This package begins with the
S+ variant and includes some cosmetic upgrades, a new color option, and
additional features, making it an attractive choice for young and adventurous
buyers. Let’s take a closer look at this new Pro Pack.
Price & Availability
The price of the Hyundai Exter Pro Pack starts at ₹7,98,390
(ex-showroom), which is about ₹5,000 higher than its standard S+ variant. This
package is available from the S+ variant up to the higher trims, which means it
is not available in the base EX, EX (O), S Smart, and S variants. This premium
package mainly targets buyers who desire style, innovation, and safety.
Design
The exterior design of the Hyundai Exter Pro Pack comes with
subtle yet impactful enhancements. It includes prominent wheel arch cladding
and silver side sill garnish, giving the SUV a rugged and sporty appearance.
In addition, a new Titan Grey Matte color option has been
introduced, which is also available in larger SUVs like the Hyundai Creta andAlcazar. This new shade gives the Exter a premium and modern appeal. Other
available color options include Atlas White, Fiery Red, Starry White, Abyss
Black, Ranger Khaki, and Shadow Grey.
Interior
In terms of interiors, the Exter Pro Pack does not get any
major changes, but it already offers a spacious and premium cabin. With this
Pro Pack, the SX (O) AMT variant now comes equipped with a dashcam, which was
earlier available only in the SX Tech and SX (O) Connect trims. This dashcam
further enhances safety and convenience.
It continues to feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment
system, semi-digital driver display, connected car technology, single-pane
sunroof, cruise control, wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control.
Features
The Hyundai Exter Pro Pack is loaded with several modern
safety and convenience features. It includes 6 airbags (standard across all
variants), ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure
Monitoring System (TPMS), rear parking camera and sensors, rain-sensing wipers,
and ISOFIX child-seat anchors.
Engine & Mileage
There are no mechanical changes in the Hyundai Exter Pro
Pack. It continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol
engine producing 83 PS of power and 113.8 Nm of torque. This engine is
available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
A CNG option is also available, delivering 69 PS of power
and 95.2 Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a manual gearbox. The mileage
figures stand at 19.4 kmpl (Petrol MT), 19.2 kmpl (Petrol AMT), and 27.1 km/kg
(CNG).
