Maruti Suzuki showcased the special Turbo Edition of its popular Fronx SUV at Auto Expo 2025. The new Maruti Fronx Turbo Edition features a bold and striking look. The SUV’s exterior design and graphics have been updated. Let’s take a closer look at the new Fronx Turbo Edition.

What’s Special About the Maruti Fronx Turbo Edition?

The new Maruti Suzuki Fronx Turbo Edition boasts eye-catching graphics. It features slanted black and red inserts on the bumper. The side profile is adorned with black graphics, and the front door proudly displays a "TURBO" badge.

Apart from the exterior updates, the Fronx Turbo Edition likely does not feature any other changes. In the Indian market, the regular Maruti Fronx is priced between ₹7.51 lakh and ₹13 lakh (ex-showroom).

Powertrain

The Maruti Fronx offers a choice of three engines: a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, a 1.2-liter petrol, and a CNG option. Depending on the variant, it comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. This SUV delivers a mileage of 20.1 kmpl with petrol and 28.51 km/kg with CNG.

Features

The Maruti Fronx comes equipped with a 9-inch infotainment system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, cruise control, and auto climate control. For safety, it offers 6 airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), and a 360-degree camera.

In the Indian market, the Maruti Fronx competes with cars like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite. However, the Fronx SUV is particularly popular due to its excellent mileage.

As for the Fronx Turbo Edition, there is currently no official information on when it will be available for sale.

Future Plans

Besides the special edition, Maruti Suzuki is also preparing to launch the Fronx with a hybrid engine. According to reports, the hybrid version of the Fronx is expected to debut by the end of 2027.
