Maruti Suzuki has
introduced a new 'Quickstop' service format, deploying container-based service
units across multiple cities in the country. The Maruti Suzuki Quickstop
initiative is designed to deliver faster and more accessible vehicle servicing
in high-traffic urban locations.
The Quickstop service units are built from modified containers and equipped with essential tools for routine
maintenance and minor repairs. These compact facilities are designed for rapid
deployment and require minimal space compared to traditional service centres.

Maruti Suzuki has incorporated eco-friendly
practices into the Quickstop units. These include waterless car washing and the
use of battery-powered equipment to reduce resource consumption and
environmental impact. Maruti Suzuki has positioned these Quickstop units at
high-vehicle-density locations such as corporate campuses, airport zones, and
fleet hubs. This allows customers to access authorised servicing at locations
they frequently visit, without the need to travel to conventional workshops.
Customers can drop off their vehicles at the nearest Quickstop facilities
during work hours and collect them after servicing.
The Maruti Suzuki Quickstop servicing format
is also targeted at fleet operators. By enabling faster turnaround times, the
service aims to reduce vehicle downtime, which directly impacts operational
efficiency and earnings.
Maruti Suzuki's dealer partners will operate
the facilities, while corporate entities or fleet operators will provide the
space. This Quickstop setup reduces infrastructure costs and enables faster
expansion of Maruti Suzuki's service network. In the pilot phase, Maruti Suzuki
has set up 10 Quickstop units across Delhi-NCR, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru,
Kolkata, Surat, Calicut and Bagdogra. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director &
CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "As workdays are getting
increasingly busier and personal time is becoming more valuable, we recognise a
growing need to make vehicle servicing even more convenient and accessible to
customers. This led to the creation of Quickstop, which brings our service
facilities to places customers regularly visit, such as offices, airport zones,
and fleet hubs. These compact, container-based units are easy to install and
require very little time and space for setup, making them ideal for such
locations."
