Tata Motors is all set to launch one of its most popular SUVs in the Indian market, the Harrier, in a brand-new avatar. The company has officially announced that the Harrier EV will make its debut in the Indian market on June 3, 2025. Let’s take a look at its design, interior, features, battery, motor, and range details.

Design

The design of the Tata Harrier EV closely resembles its ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) version, but it features EV-specific updates. In terms of styling, the EV looks futuristic with a closed-off front grille, connected LED DRLs, and a new bumper.

On the side of the vehicle, new aero-optimized 5-spoke alloy wheels and.EV badging can be seen. At the rear, it features connected LED taillamps and a redesigned bumper. The Harrier EV will be available in white, black, and grey color options.

Interior

The cabin of the Harrier EV is inspired by the ICE model but comes with premium updates in a grey and white color scheme. It features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver display, and a touch-based HVAC control panel on the dashboard. Additional features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a 10-speaker JBL sound system.

For safety, the Harrier EV will offer Level 2 ADAS which includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane departure warning.
It will also support Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) charging, along with over-the-air (OTA) updates, making it a more modern and connected SUV.

Battery, Motor, and Range

The Tata Harrier EV is based on the Acti.EV platform and will come with a dual-motor setup offering all-wheel-drive (AWD) configuration. It is expected to deliver a peak torque of 500 Nm.
With an estimated 60 kWh battery pack, the Harrier EV is likely to offer a driving range of over 500 km.
To make it more affordable, Tata Motors will also offer a single-motor variant.

Expected Price

The Tata Harrier EV is expected to launch in the Indian market at a price range of ₹25–30 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will compete with other electric SUVs in its segment like the Mahindra XUV.e9, BYD Atto 3, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
