Tata Motors to Launch 2 New SUVs Soon – Is Your Favorite on the List?

Tata Motors is steadily progressing in the Indian market. Currently, the company holds the largest electric car portfolio in the country. To further strengthen this position, Tata Motors is planning to introduce several new products in the coming days. The most prominent among these are the Harrier EV and the Sierra. Tata Harrier EV

At the top of the list is the Harrier EV. The company has confirmed that it will be launched in the Indian market on June 3, 2025. It has been developed on the brand’s advanced ACTI.EV+ architecture. This electric SUV will feature a dual-motor quad-wheel-drive (QWD) setup, which will deliver enhanced performance and handling.

The Harrier EV is expected to offer a real-world range of around 500 kilometers, making it a suitable SUV for long journeys. Premium features, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), multi-link rear suspension, a panoramic sunroof, and a high-resolution infotainment system, will be included in the package.

Its pricing is expected to start at around ₹25 lakh (ex-showroom), and it will compete with SUVs like the Mahindra XUV.e9 and the BE.6.

Tata Sierra

Tata Motors is bringing back a popular nameplate in a new avatar. Initially, the Sierra will be launched with petrol and diesel (ICE) engine options. The Sierra EV will be introduced in the market at a later stage. It is expected that the company will launch it in the second half of 2025.

The Sierra, showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, is expected to be a blend of old-school design with modern aesthetics.

It will feature Tata's strong build quality, a spacious interior, and advanced connectivity options, making it a premium offering in the mid-size SUV segment. The Sierra EV is likely to be based on the ACTI.EV platform. While its exact pricing has not been revealed yet, it is expected to compete with models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the Indian market.
