Tata Motors is set to launch the facelift version of the Punch Electric SUV on February 20. Ahead of its official launch, the exterior look of the Punch EV facelift has been revealed, and it looks quite attractive. The new Punch EV facelift will come with a cleaner, more modern, and EV-specific design. Compared to the older model, significant changes have been made to the front design, while updates are also expected in the rear profile.
Exterior Design of Tata Punch EV Facelift
Tata has given the Punch EV facelift a new minimalist front fascia. It now features a closed-off grille, which makes the car look more futuristic and aerodynamic. The black strip that previously connected the headlights has been removed, giving the front a cleaner and more upright appearance. The connected LED light bar from the earlier model has also been discontinued. Instead, the car will get new Y-shaped or separate DRLs.The lower bumper and skid plate have received subtle yet noticeable updates, adding a more muscular touch to the SUV.
New Alloy Wheels and Color Options
Tata has introduced a new color option for the Punch EV facelift, which appears similar to a “Sunlight Yellow” shade and is available with a black roof. The car also gets aero-optimized alloy wheels inspired by the design of the Nexon EV.
Interior and Features
The interior details of the Tata Punch EV facelift have not been officially revealed yet. However, it is expected to receive minor design updates along with improved technology. A new 12.3-inch infotainment system, similar to the one in the Nexon EV, is likely to be offered. Other features, such as a 10.25-inch digital driver display, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, and connected-car technology, are expected to continue. The SUV may also come with a Level-2 ADAS suite.
Expected Battery and Range
No major changes are expected in the motor and battery setup of the facelift model. It is likely to continue with the 25 kWh and 35 kWh battery options, offering ranges of around 265 km and 365 km (slightly improved), respectively.
The power output is also expected to remain the same:
- 82 hp / 114 Nm (smaller battery)
- 122 hp / 190 Nm (larger battery)
Launch Date and Expected Price
The Tata Punch EV facelift is expected to launch in the Indian market on February 20, 2026. Its prices may be slightly higher than the current model, which is priced between ₹9.99 lakh and ₹14.44 lakh (ex-showroom). Reports suggest that the new Punch EV may start at around ₹10.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
