The Punch EV is the fourth electric car model from Tata Motors, a popular domestic car manufacturer, which was introduced in January 2024. The Tata Punch EV is selling well in India. However, in this sequence, the company has announced an attractive discount for the first time on this electric car.
Tata has announced a discount of up to 50,000 rupees on this new electric car, the Tata Punch EV. This offer is specifically for the top-of-the-line Punch EV Empowered+S LR ACFC variant.

Tata Punch EV Powertrain: The Tata Punch electric car is offered with two battery pack options. It includes a 25 kWh and a 35 kWh battery pack. The 25 kWh battery pack is available for mid-range models, providing a range of 315 kilometers on a single charge.
The long-range version comes with a 35 kWh battery, which will provide a range of 421 kilometers on a single charge. The mid-range model produces 80bhp and 114Nm of torque, while the long-range model is capable of producing 120bhp and 190Nm of torque.
The company has introduced two charger options. This includes a 7.2-kilowatt fast charger and a 3.3-kilowatt wall box charger. A central charging flap has been installed under the Tata logo at the front of the new Tata Punch electric car.
LED headlights and fog lamps are installed on the front bumper. The Tata Punch EV comes with 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also features disc brakes on all four wheels.
The Tata Punch EV is built on Tata's new Acti.EV (Advanced Connected Tech Intelligent Electric Vehicle) platform. The upcoming electric models, the Harrier EV and the Curv EV will also be based on this platform.
The Tata Punch EV has a similar size to ICE models, but in terms of design, the front face resembles the Nexon EV facelift. It also features a trunk space beneath the bonnet with a capacity of 14 liters, making it the first Indian electric car to have storage space.
Tata Punch EV features: Tata Punch EV features a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connections. The car's updated center console now also includes a touch-sensitive AC control panel.
Additionally, the Tata Punch EV comes with a new two-spoke steering wheel featuring the Tata logo. The car's interior features fresh dual-tone upholstery, a 7-inch digital instrument console, and an air purifier with an AQI display.
It also features auto-fold ORVMs (Outside Rear View Mirrors), ventilated front seats, a wireless smartphone charger, leather seats, a 360-degree camera, a blind spot monitor, and a sunroof. It comes with cruise control, an electronic stability program, and 6 airbags.
