The facelifted version of the Kia Sonet will offer you a new design and upgraded features. In the new Sonet, the company has provided 25 safety features for customers, including 10 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and 15 high-safety features.
The facelifted version of the Kia Sonet will be available in a total of 19 variants. These include 3 petrol and 5 diesel (manual) variants, 3 petrol and 2 diesel variants with iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission), 3 petrol variants with 7DCT (7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission), and 3 diesel automatic variants.
The price of this sub-compact SUV starts at INR 7,99,000 (ex-showroom), which is for the base variant of the car. On the other hand, if we talk about the top variant of the Kia, you will need to spend INR 15,69,000 (ex-showroom) for it.
2024 Kia Sonet Facelift: The engine and transmission details
The facelifted version of the Kia Sonet will be available with three engine options:
1.) The first variant comes with a 1.2-liter petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
2.) The second variant offers a 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine with the option of iMT (Semi-Automatic) or DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission).
3.) The third variant features a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine available with a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, and 6-speed AT (Automatic Transmission).
Kia Sonet Features
In the new Sonet, you will find a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The most significant change in the new Sonet is the introduction of Level 1 ADAS features, such as Front Collision-Avoidance Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, and Lane Following Assist.
All variants of this car come with features like 6 airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), and Hill Start Assist. The top variants of the car offer additional features such as cornering lamps, four-way powered driver seat, and a 360-degree camera with Blind View Monitor. Premium features like ventilated front seats, sunroof, and LED ambient lighting are available in the top variants of this car.
