Toyota Fortuner MHEV

At the top of the list, we have the hybrid-engine-powered Fortuner. Interestingly, Toyota has equipped the Fortuner with hybrid technology while retaining its diesel engine. In the global market, the company offers it a 2.8-liter, 4-cylinder GD-series diesel engine, and a 48-volt MHEV system. This reduces emissions and makes the vehicle more fuel-efficient than before.

The new Fortuner Hybrid will come with a standard 6-speed automatic transmission, while a 4WD system will be available as an option. With hybrid technology, it is expected to deliver a mileage of up to 13.15 kmpl. The global version of the new Fortuner comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, a 360-degree camera, ADAS safety features, and multiple airbags.

MG Majestor

MG Motor India is set to introduce the MG Majestor in the domestic market as a companion to the Gloster SUV. It will feature the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine as the Gloster, producing 213 BHP of power and 478 Nm of peak torque. The vehicle will come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and an optional 4WD system.

In terms of features and interior, the Majestor will be equipped with a 12.3-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, a wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium sound system. Safety features include multiple airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a 360-degree camera, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

Skoda Kodiaq

The second-generation Skoda Kodiaq is set to launch in the Indian car market soon. This premium full-size SUV will receive design and feature upgrades, although its mechanical specifications will remain unchanged.

Key features include a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a wireless phone charger. In terms of safety, it will come with ISOFIX child seat anchors, six standard airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
