Ertiga-Innova Rival MPV Launches with Premium Features

The design of
the Kia Carens Clavis is more
attractive and bold compared to before. Its look is inspired by the company's
flagship EV9. It comes equipped with 3-pod LED headlamps, new LED
daytime running lights, and a redesigned front grille.
Additionally,
the Clavis features connected LED tail lamps and newly designed dual-tone
17-inch alloy wheels. The company is offering this MPV in 8 exterior
color options. In the domestic market, it will compete with the Maruti Ertiga
and Toyota Innova.
The interior
layout of the Kia Carens Clavis
is almost similar to the existing model. This MPV is available in both 6-
and 7-seater configurations. It features a 22.62-inch dual-screen setup,
which includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch
touchscreen infotainment system with integrated AC vent controls.
In addition,
the Carens Clavis offers wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
connectivity, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control,
ventilated seats, an 8-speaker Bose audio system, and connected
car technology with remote functions.
The new Carens
Clavis is also strong in terms of safety. It now comes equipped with a Level-2
ADAS safety suite, which includes features such as automatic emergency
braking, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring.
Other safety features include a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, and
an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
The Kia Carens Clavis offers multiple engine options
According to
Kia Motors, bookings for the Carens
Clavis will open tonight at midnight through the company’s official
website and dealerships. In the domestic market, the current Carens is priced
between ₹10.60 lakh and ₹19.70 lakh (ex-showroom). Reports suggest that
the starting price of the new Carens Clavis could be around ₹15 lakh
(ex-showroom).
