These models are specially designed for taxi operators, fleet owners, and commercial use. Let’s take a look at their prices and key highlights.

Mileage and Speed Limit

The Prime HB is based on the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios, while the Prime SD is derived from the Aura sedan. Both models are powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder engine, available with petrol and factory-fitted CNG options.
In CNG mode, the claimed mileage of the Prime SD is 28.40 km/kg, while the Prime HB delivers 27.32 km/kg. According to the company, the running cost can go as low as ₹0.47 per kilometre, making these models highly beneficial for taxi operators.
To comply with commercial vehicle regulations, both models are equipped with a speed-limiting function capped at 80 km/h.

Price and Colour Options

Talking about pricing, the Prime HB is priced from ₹5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Prime SD is available at ₹6.89 lakh. Bookings are open at any Hyundai dealership with a token amount of just ₹5,000. These models are offered in three colour options – Atlas White, Typhoon Silver, and Abyss Black.

Safety and Features

Hyundai has made no compromises on safety and comfort. Both models come equipped with 6 airbags as standard, rear parking sensors, an emergency stop signal, three-point seatbelts, and a rear defogger. Comfort features such as rear AC vents and power windows ensure a comfortable journey for passengers.

Ownership Support

Hyundai is offering an extended warranty up to the fourth and fifth year or 1.80 lakh km. Financing options are available with EMI plans of up to 72 months. The company’s wide service network and trained Fleet Care Advisors will provide dedicated support to taxi operators.

What the Company Said

HMIL Managing Director and CEO Designate Tarun Garg stated that with the Prime HB and Prime SD, Hyundai is introducing products in the commercial segment that offer trust, reliability, and strong earning potential. This launch will strengthen Hyundai’s presence in the taxi market, where low running costs and safety are key requirements.
