Renault has brought back the new Duster with strong features, especially since the iconic compact SUV was absent from the Indian market for several years. Although it is based on the global RGMP platform, the India-spec Duster offers several advantages over the international version. Here are the key areas where it stands out.

 Before that, the Renault Duster was one of the first compact SUVs in the Indian market, originally launched in 2012. It played a major role in shifting buyer preference from hatchbacks to SUVs. However, it was discontinued in 2022 as part of Renault's global strategy. Now, the French automaker has reintroduced the SUV with petrol and hybrid powertrain options.

As mentioned earlier, the new Renault Duster is built on the RGMP (Renault Group Modular Platform), which is around 90% tailored for Indian conditions. One of its biggest highlights is the suspension tuning, designed to deliver superior ride comfort along with best-in-class handling and control.  The new Renault Duster is offered in six variants, including a limited "Iconic Launch Edition." Pricing for the India-spec model starts at ₹10.49 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top-end variant is priced at ₹16.79 lakh (ex-showroom).
