MG Cyberster EV Unveiled at Auto Expo 2025, Bookings Now Open

MG Cyberster EV was recently showcased at Auto Expo 2025 in India. It will be sold through the automaker's premium 'MG Select dealerships, and its bookings have now begun. This all-electric sports car is expected to be launched in India by April 2025, but pre-bookings have started ahead of its official launch.

MG Cyberster EV Powertrain

The MG Cyberster is a two-seater luxury electric sports car. The India-bound model will feature a dual-motor setup, with one motor on each axle, delivering a combined output of 510 PS and 725 Nm. It will be equipped with a 77 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, offering a range of up to 500 km on a single charge.

In the global market, the MG Cyberster EV is also available with a rear-axle-mounted motor that produces 340 PS and 475 Nm. MG Motor claims that the domestic version of the Cyberster can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds.

MG Cyberster EV Features

The Cyberster features a three-screen dashboard setup, including two 7-inch displays and one 10.25-inch display. Additionally, it has a touch-enabled screen for AC controls, enhancing the car’s modern and futuristic appeal.

MG Cyberster EV: Luxury Features and Safety

The luxury all-electric MG Cyberster comes with 6-way electrically adjustable heated seats with memory function, an electrically operable and foldable soft roof, and an 8-speaker Bose audio system.

MG Cyberster EV Safety

The India-spec Cyberster is equipped with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Lane Keep Assist, and Active Emergency Braking. Additionally, it is expected to feature an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for enhanced safety.

MG Cyberster EV Color Options & Competition

The MG Cyberster EV will be available in four color options:

1. Diamond Red
2. Inca Yellow
3. Ivory White
4. Andes Grey

While the MG Cyberster has no direct competitors in India, it is expected to rival the electric version of the BMW Z4 Roadster.
