Fastest Selling 7 Seater: The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga has surpassed the milestone of selling 1 million units, making it the fastest-selling multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) in the country. With a market share of 37.5% in the mid-size MPV segment, the Ertiga leads this segment. According to the company, the Ertiga is particularly preferred by young customers and is also becoming the first choice for first-time car buyers. 

According to the company, 41% of the customers buying the Ertiga were first-time car buyers. What's noteworthy is that 66% of Ertiga buyers had already decided to purchase it before reaching the showroom. Maruti's stylish and reliable Ertiga has proven to be a hit MPV nationwide, capturing a market share of 37.5% in both urban and rural markets.

The advanced features are winning hearts

The top variants of the Maruti Ertiga come with abundant features. This 7-seater MPV includes a 17.78 cm (7-inch) SmartPlay Pro touchscreen infotainment system, Arkamys Surround Sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, turn-by-turn navigation with MID, and Suzuki Connect system with more than 40 connected features. This car also features remote AC, automatic headlamps, cruise control, and machine-cut alloy wheels, along with many other features.

There's something special in comfort as well

In terms of utility and space as well, Maruti Ertiga is the best in its segment. It features an air-cooled cup holder, front row armrest with utility box, bottle holder, and charging socket in each row of seats. Roof-mounted AC vents and controls are provided for rear passengers. It also offers reclining and flat-fold functions for the second and third-row seats, which can increase the cabin space. Additionally, the top variants also offer the option of a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The engine is fuel-efficient

The Maruti Ertiga Next-Gen K-Series 1.5-liter Dual Jet engine is operated with Progressive Smart Hybrid technology and Dual VVT engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 102bhp and torque of 136.8Nm. The car is available with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options. In petrol, the car offers a mileage of 20.51 kilometers per liter and in CNG, it provides a mileage of 26.11 kilometers per kilogram.
